SlowLife Retreats
Why is this Weekend Retreat dedicated to Stressed Superwomen Aspiring to Become Zen Superwomen?
Are you a Superwoman who’s always “on”—managing work, family, relationships, and every other role you juggle, but rarely giving yourself a moment to breathe? Do you find yourself over-committed, saying “yes” when you need to say “no,” constantly battling guilt, and feeling like a 24-hour day is never enough? For the woman who does it all, it’s easy to lose sight of the one person who needs care the most: you.
At the Zen Superwoman Weekend Retreat, you’ll discover how to embrace every moment without the weight of “I should be doing…” lingering in the background. Here, time stands still for a weekend, allowing you to savor simplicity and reconnect with yourself in a space that’s free from judgment. You’ll enjoy the company of other superwomen who understand the journey, creating moments to share, exchange, and even laugh at life’s quirks and challenges together
During your Slow Life retreat, you will:
- Discover the Principles of Slowness: Learn how to embrace a slower, more intentional pace and let go of the rush.
- Practice Meditative Yoga and Yoga Nidra: Gentle practices that harmonize body, breath, and mind, allowing you to truly relax and renew.
- Nourish with Purpose: Delight in hearty, organic Mediterranean-inspired brunches and slow dinners that are as nourishing as they are delicious, made with seasonal, local ingredients.
- Set Personal Intentions: Define how you’ll integrate slowness into your daily life, cultivating calm and setting compassionate boundaries.
- Explore Creativity: Connect with your deep creativity, unlocking happiness and fulfillment through personal expression.
- Indulge in Mindful Leisure: From biking and beachside relaxation to exploring local villages, choose activities that allow you to simply “be.”
- Extra special addition: Enjoy an evening of music and culture
And of course, there will be other surprise activities to make the Zen Superwoman Weekend Retreat even more memorable. But remember, everything here is optional—sometimes, the best thing you can do is to lounge by the pool with a good book and simply listen to yourself.
Testimonials
Like many women, I lead a very busy life with a full agenda of professional, community and family responsibilities. The Slow Life Retreat proposed by Sandrine Kom of Slow Life Coaching enabled me not only to slow down and take it easy, but also to take care of my own needs, and to make new friends for a weekend. Sandrine, full of gentleness and kindness, will give you a unique, luminous moment of self-reflection and praise for slowness. She accompanies you on a Slow Yoga Nidra journey, in a cocoon of softness, facing the magnificent Tuscan countryside. Her voice will plunge you into another universe, that of listening to yourself and your deepest aspirations. You have to let yourself be carried away and let go, to be surprised once again by your own emotions and those of others. Because yes, meeting enriching people is also part of becoming a Zen Superwoman.
Thank you Sandrine for a fantastic retreat! Words can’t describe it, however I will try.
I’ve known Sandrine for a number of years now and I’m so thankful we met when we did in Florence, Italy. I believe people come into your life when you most need them. Everyone who has a very hectic professional career and family life reaches a point that it’s all too much. We constantly seek a balance and it’s always just out of reach. Sandrine’s slowlife approach caught my attention while having a break from everything in Florence in 2019.
Sandrine has amazing approaches you can incorporate into your day to day (especially throughout your day) which enables you to reconnect with yourself and give yourself what you need most at that moment, thus helping you feel more balanced. This enables you to show up better for yourself and others.
The retreat was a goal of mine for years and I decided 2024 was the year that I would give myself a gift. I flew from San Francisco to Boston, to Dublin (Ireland) to Pisa (Italy) and I arrived at a Tuscan Villa that matched my dreams. It was an amazing location, delicious food (that I still remember) and of course Sandrine and her slowlife magic, along with a group of international ladies of all ages, all seeking the same balance. I truly enjoyed the yoga sessions each day, group dinners and chats and surprise activities.
Sandrine plans these retreats with participants in mind. I love that she asks everyone how they are and tailors the program & activities accordingly. It really is a custom retreat and different each time.
Don’t wait years to give yourself a gift of slowness, balance and zen. Slowing down does really help you in many ways. You will remember the retreat and the people forever. I hope to attend again in the future.
A Transformative Experience at the Zen Superwoman Retreat
The Zen Superwoman Retreat by Slow Life Coaching was a deeply rejuvenating journey. From the horse emotional experience, which taught me the power of presence and connection, to the stone balancing sessions, where I found focus and inner calm, every activity was thoughtfully designed to heal and inspire.
Evenings were magical, with warm dinners and thoughtful exchanges that fostered a sense of community and belonging. The retreat also provided tools for time management, stress management, work-life balance, and burnout prevention, making it a holistic experience for mind, body, and spirit.
I left feeling lighter, stronger, and ready to face life with clarity and confidence. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a reset!
Reclaiming Myself at the Zen Superwoman Retreat
As someone who juggles a packed schedule and constant responsibilities, the Zen Superwoman Retreat felt like the lifeline I didn’t know I needed. The retreat wasn’t just a pause. It was a complete reset, a space where I could let go, slow down, and finally focus on me.
The horse emotional experience was nothing short of magical. These gentle creatures reflected my emotions in ways I didn’t expect, pulling me into the present and opening my heart.
One of the most moving parts of the retreat was the journaling session catering to the inner child. It was deeply emotional to connect with parts of myself I had buried under deadlines and responsibilities. Writing those words felt like peeling away years of stress to rediscover my own voice.
Evenings went smoothly, delicious, nourishing meals followed by thoughtful conversations that sparked a sense of sisterhood. I walked away with not just friendships but a genuine feeling of connection and support, a reminder that I’m not alone in this journey.
The retreat also gifted me practical tools for time and stress management, work-life balance, and burnout prevention.
This wasn’t just a retreat. It was a gift to myself, a space to reconnect, heal, and rediscover the joy in simply being. For every superwoman out there, this is your invitation to slow down and find your light again.
